Essential Ingredients to Good Health!

Love, Life & Laughter - Sounds wonderful doesn't it?

Have you ever really thought about the true meaning of each of these valuable words; in your words only; solely relating to you.

Let us exam "Love" first. I believe, and you would probably have to agree, you can't have Life and Laughter successfully without the most important "Love".

To Love is to be Loved first. You know the saying "Love, love your brother, as much as you love yourself". Well it is true. If you don't LIKE who you are, which really is a stronger verb than LOVE then you really have less chance of liking or loving someone else very much at all. So how do we do this 'LOVE YOURSELF' or 'LIKE YOURSELF' thing successfully.

First and foremost you must make sure the relationship you have with yourself is unconditional. Don't BEAT yourself up over small insignificant things. None of us are perfect - all of us have faults, just some more than others. We must learn to accept every aspect of "ME" (YOU) - every simple tiny detail. We don't necessarily have to like everything, as that allows room for a CHANGE - IMPROVEMENT even. That's a good thing; a Healthy Thing.

"Love doesn't erase the past, but it makes the future different." as quoted by Gary Chapman in THE FIVE LOVE LANGUAGES. Therefore be open to the fact that you will perform acts you utterly dislike about yourself and regret will be a major possibility, but if you recognise these acts and forgive yourself of them, then you will be able to move forward, thus making your future different. We must Learn from our Mistakes and make every mistake benefit our future. Don't waste mistakes with regret - prosper with excitement of a lesson learnt improving everything in your path for tomorrow. Life really is an amazing adventure and if we look at every moment of it with excitement, even in the tough times, we will succeed.

So accept yourself unconditionally, love yourself unconditionally, & enjoy your life unconditionally. This brings me to the next point.

'LIFE' - Fun, Disaster, enjoyment, disappointment, laughter etc. etc. As different a life each one of us has from the other, we all experience many different angles to many different situations. How we deal with those completely satisfying or disastrous situations is the crucial point to the destiny of our "LIFE"!

A positive
outlook on a negative situation can only make the unwanted, hard to deal with situation, much easier to resolve, not to mention, live through. A positive outlook on a positive situation can only enhance the outcome by 150% at least. Both situations end up with a much better 'MOVE FORWARD WITH A SMILE OF CONTENTMENT' outlook on Life.

Which leads me to the next paragraph "LAUGHTER". This, I believe, is the Cream on Top of the whole recipe to Good Health; the essential ingredient that sits up high oozing down through all the above, flavouring, sweetening and softening all to a totally, healthy blissful life!

Laughter is the medicine that makes a
healing power totally possible. The old saying 'It takes more effort to Smile than to Frown' only enhances the fact that a wiser person is a happier person. If you have the energy and willpower to smile and laugh through the most difficult and life stretching moments, you have the very recipe for great wisdom, strength, positive ingenuity, and a total understanding of the meaning of LOVE, LIFE & LAUGHTER!

Take all of the above and gulp it, swallow it and completely digest it into a healty love and life stream, which will only result in complete satisfaction of your heart. Try the Special Recipe of Life - it really does work!

LOVE YOUR INNER SELF



Love Your Hair, Love your Job, Love Your Life, Love Your Man, Love Your House, Love Your Car, Love Your Lover, Love Your Nails . . .

In chronological order our ?loves? are numerous but somewhat ?out of order?. Where does 'Love Your Inner Self' come into the equation?

It took Cancer to make me sit up and look at what I was doing for my inner health ... don?t wait that long !

How many times do we stand in front of the mirror doing and checking our hair; our make-up? How many times do we dust, clean, sort and rearrange our house? We pay money to have our hair done, our nails prettied, our car cleaned and polished, yet we pay or do little to pretty, clean or polish our inside.

Love yourself enough to think about this at least once. Better still, be kind enough to ?you? to even research how.

Even more so - enjoy the journey now, to hear my opinion on this very subject. I hold no responsibility of your decisions, but recommend information given to me which I then researched and put into practice, which suited me.

First things, first; never, ever look back and worry. Go forward and begin to create a new you; A clean, healthy, happy ?you?. Your Immune System is one of the most important issues you should be involved in apart from your spiritual wellbeing.

God gave you a brain to use, then use it! If a car looks good on the outside with a perfect paint and chrome job, yet has a dirty engine, missing all the essential maintenance to keep it running, what use is it to anyone. It will only break down continually. In the same way, if we don?t maintain our engine, our inner health, what good will we be to anyone, most importantly our loved ones?!

So here goes. These are some lessons I have learnt over the past 10 or so years regarding boosting my immune system. They work for me and should also do the same for you, however we are all different and have different needs. Take the information I give you, then research yourself and make up your own mind to suit your lifestyle.

1. Being contented with what you are doing for your healthy life is one of the most important steps to a positive outcome. Your positive mind and soul is a huge healer.

2. Juicing is a great way to cleanse away right to those precious, important cells that motivate our body.

3. Taking a highly recommended anti-oxidant is a sure way to boost your immunity. Check with your health food outlet but I take one with 12,000mg of grapeseed. Whilst everyone else was getting sick through winter, I managed (even though I closely associated with them) to make it all the way through fit as a fiddle. After putting my husband on the same, he also maintains a stronger immunity now. Other vitamins and minerals are helpful as well in addition to this.

4. I recommend 75% roar fruit and vegetables intake daily, with some protein, carbs etc. So salad away. Be creative. They can be fun to do and very yummy. Simple is best. Try it!

5. Olive Oil ... use lime and olive oil for dressing. At least a tablespoon of olive oil a day is excellent for good health.

6. Water, water and more water ... you should have approximately 2 litres of purified water a day. Combined with 3 capfuls of Aloe Juice, this becomes a fantastic blood purifier, cleanser and circulator. It is great for the digestive system eg. relieves heartburn.

There you go! ?Not everything I know to date but now you have a list of some of the important, and I find, essential ways to boost your immune system.

    Are You Water Deprived ?

    Whilst we are so concerned about enough water to grow our gardens, wash ourselves etc we are depriving ourselves of one of the most important facts of water - our internal intake. We are literally dehydrating ourselves.

    But we are thirsty you might say. Why is that - because instead of the most natural and highly beneficial way of hydrating our bodies, we are choosing to replace all that essential healthy drinking of water by substitutes of tea, coffee, soft drinks, milKshakes and the list goes on. Sure it is fine to drink those drinks in moderation, but to absolutely replace water with those is a big opening for major health problems, cancer, heart conditions, diabetes and other severe illnesses we don't even want to think about. When we are water deprived internally, the protein repair mechanism in our bodies starts to deteriorate, accelerating the aging process, creating problems of disease. The immune system, unflushed with water just doesn't want to function the way it should.

    Picture this - place a beautiful new healthy leafy green plant on your balcony for all to admire. Now instead of taking care to water your lush healthy plant regularly, you neglect it. Day after day it starts to dry up from inside out. It dehydrates to an ugly, unhealthy, lethargic stick with no energy to produce any life at all.

    Now picture that as "You"! Scarey hey! You could be depriving yourself of life itself right now.

    So what are the benefits of water? Have you heard of 'Heartburn'. Of course you have. A lot of us live with it day and night. In a diet world of too many carbohydrates and not enough fruit and vegetables and pure water 'Heartburn' becomes ones closest companion. If you ask me I would consider it more of an enemy. My experience and memories of 'Heartburn' are 'unwelcome' to say the least. During my treatment of chemotherapy it was one of my unwelcomed, unpopular past-times. I tried so many medications and remedies; avoided acid related foods and so life went on still with 'Heartburn'. Then finally I learnt the huge and lifesaving benefits of 'water' - good purified, but still economical 'water'. Plenty of it was the prescription. It really works. Believe me folks, from a disastrous real life experience I know. I know how chronically discomforting it is and how a life changing relief is the best feeling you could imagine. All this because of good clean 'water'.

    So instead of reaching for the quick relief medication - reach cheap and grab a glass or more of water.

    Water Additives - something I mention many times, because I honestly swear by it is, Aloe Juice. A capful three times a day in your water is so beneficial for a healthy and very functional - heartburn free - digestive system. My daughter has used it for both her children from when they were babies. It is one of the best blood cleansers you could use.

    Enough water per day (usually approximately 8-8ounce glasses or 2 litres per day) also is a huge boost to clean out and help reduce any unwanted weight. Alongside a good nutritional diet, water definitely flushes out all those unnecessary impurities and starts the metabolism pumping at a more rapid rate.

    Your body is 67% water; your blood is 83% water; and your brain is 74% water. So keep your all important being, flushed and hydrated, and you will find the important actions like metabolism, blood flow and so on, will only enhance your energy levels to an all time peak.

    As you can now see, as well as a healthy and nutritional diet complimented by exercise, water is very important and a crucial factor in the whole cycle of a strong, energetic, healthy 'You'!

    A fast Metabolism can be yours for life now!  Pick up the pace of your health and fitness.  'How do I increase my metabolism?' 'How do I go from an unhealthy lifestyle to a healthy alternative?'  you ask.

    How and Why?
    Firstly How?  Metabolism is the biochemical process where by nutrients are combined by the body's cells.  In the process of metabolism, cell content is working hard.  Cells work hard by using energy to extract more energy from foods, and then again use alot of that extracted energy to perform or drive their activities.  That's why it is important to get your sleep or rest because even when your body is resting it is using more and more energy to keep on the move.

    Then Why?
    We humans are creatures of habit, enhanced by much emotion and triggered by even more lifestyle stresses.  We truely do make things difficult for ourselves.  Therefore we tend to find it hard to decide on a habit - a life long habit which is a lifelong enhancer, which can encourage a lifelong life. 

    As quoted in Joyce Meyer's book "Look Great Feel Great" - The connection between exercise and cancer protection is not as direct as that between exercise and reduced cardiovascular disease.  Exercise has little impact on some cancers yet it reduces your risk of breast cancer by thirty-seven percent and has similar protection against prostate and colon cancer.  It does this by stimulating your immune system.  Your immune defense, centered in the lymphatic system, circulates white blood cells through the body, where they find and eliminate any cellular threats, such as bacteria, viruses, and cancer
    cells.  Unlike blood, which is pumped throughy the body by the heart, lymph depends on muscle contractions to squeeze it through the body.  Moderate exercise more than doubles the rate at which your lymph circulates!  The faster those while blood cells circulate, the more cancer cells and viruses they can pick off.

    Come on people - Stop wasting time in your precious life.  Like or love yourself enough to make the change; to improve the quality of your very own life.  Make the change to fight illness and become the healthy being you dream of.

    Calories are the main source of energy in the metabolic process.  If a person can burn more calories than they are consuming, then they are well and truely on the way to losing weight. Sounds simple? Not really, but, if we want something bad enough it is essential and definitely rewarding to make that change.  A healthy lifestyle is encouraged initially by becoming the weight and shape that is a comfort to you.  So then, it comes down to diet and exercise to achieve that.  However, the mindset must be engaged in a 'Positive Gear' to make that happen.  Really take this time now to think of YOU.  How your can feel about YOU especially if the YOU is exceptionally contented about yourself and your wellbeing, health and fitness, not to mention appearance.  Calories are the fuel that drive and energize the body.  The more nutritious the food we eat is, the more efficient our bodies will respond.  You can increase your metabolism just by what you eat, and sometimes by the more you eat.  BUT ... the 'more' intake of food needs to be 'more' nutritious too, and definitely of the highest quality.  Eating a healthy diet is half way there to naturally boosting your metabolism.

    The second and extremely important half of the cycle is the exercise.  Those combined will defintely be the healthy recipe to boost your system into much energy.  A combination of resistance and cardio training will defintely boost metabolism because it requires the body to burn large amounts of energy.  This continues on well after the exercise.  The body will burn alot of energy after the workout helping to repair tired and underworked muscles.  This then results in more lean muscle mass which then requires more calories while resting to maintain.

    So to achieve the happy and healthy lifestyle you are dreaming of, set your heart, mind, body and soul to commit to this lifelong habit.  You will be on the New Road to much energy, fitness, inner-strength and happiness, not to mention a longer and healthier future to be enjoyed.  Start that New Road of complete Satisfaction today.  Don't look back, just reach forward.  If you slip at times, don't punish yourself.
